Congratulations!  You are here, and have already taken the first step.
Our philosophy is to offer admissions to students who desire both academic and spiritual growth and who can handle our academic program.  We evaluate applicants holistically, based upon their middle school transcripts, written recommendations and interviews.

Our primary public admissions event is our annual Open House, which provides an overview of our school, an opportunity to meet the administrators, faculty, alumni, current students and their parents, and to take a look at our well appointed premises. This year's Open House has already taken place.
Parlor meetings held in individual communities will provide important opportunity to meet face to face with current parents and administrators for more in-depth discussion about the school in a relaxed and  informal setting. Check back for a list of communities and dates.
Shabbatons will offer potential students an intimate glimpse into the ruach, camaraderie and exceptional leadership that  personify RTMA.  We urge all students considering our school to register in at least one of the host communities.
Visitation to the school while classes are in session is also encouraged and would allow your son to have the opportunity to see the school and students in action. For incoming high school boys, we have found this experience to be invaluable. Visits may be coordinated with the office.  Please call the RTMA office at (908) 355-4850, ext 6254 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Student interviews are part of the application process. We will contact you once we have received your son's application for admission, transcripts and respective recommendation forms. The interview is an opportunity for both sides to see whether the RTMA curriculum would be a fit for your son as his ability to succeed and thrive is our primary concern.

Acceptance letters will be mailed out as per BJE (Board of Jewish Education) guidelines.
We look forward to meeting you in person one day soon and thank you for your interest in the Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy.
